On Thursday, 14th April at the University of Novi Sad, was held a conference titled "Partnership between the University and companies in developing programs and training", organized by the UNESCO Chair for Entrepreneurial Studies from University of Novi Sad. The conference, which was organized the day before the official celebration of International Day of Entrepreneurship, presented four new training, designed to give students, business people and all interested parties, offers practical knowledge and skills in the areas of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial behavior in the market.


The conference aims to foster dialogue between the university and the company from its environment on the programs of study, courses and training implemented by the University. Another notable feature reflected the fact that there are actually one of the first project in the region in which the focus is developing partnerships of universities and industry. 

On what is actually a "partnership" - a word and a term that is used increasingly in recent years, what kind of quality and what is content of the relationship between academia and industry that it could be characterized as a partnership - said at the start of the conference coordinator of the TEMPUS project at our University and preliminary founder of UNESCO Chair for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Novi Sad, Professor Fuada Stankovic.


In the introduction, the attendees were addressed by the Rector of the University of Novi Sad, prof. Miroslav Vesković speaking about the vision of the University in domestic and international context. Speaking about the importance of the university and its place in society, he emphasized the need to develop students' practical knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial behavior in the market. He recalled the example of building partnerships with companies from the University environment through strategic implementation of concluded agreements on cooperation with companies and brands ", such as NIS Gazpromneft, Microsoft, IBM or EXIT Foundation.

 

The conference featured four new training, a result of this international TEMPUS project: "How to create a market for their innovation," Formulating a strategy for innovative business", " How to improve their communication / sales / presentation skills?" and "How do I prepare for professional life?"

In addition, exclusively represented the One Stop Shop initiative arose within the TEMPUS project, which should ensure sustainability of the initiated activities in organizing the training of skills within the UNESCO Chair.
